Chapa is powering Ethiopia’s new Digital Healthcare era through the Teninete App
We're recognized by the Ministry of Health for strengthening Ethiopia’s key digital healthcare platforms.
We were honored to receive recognition from the Ministry of Health, presented by the State Minister for Health System and Capacity Building, Mrs. Seharela Abdulahi, at the launch of Teninete at the National Science Museum. The event, inaugurated by H.E. President Taye Atske-Selassie Amde, also introduced the Lebego Ambulance Dispatching System and the 952 Health Hotline, all part of Ethiopia’s growing digital health ecosystem.
As the leading payment provider for Teninete, we enable fast and secure transactions for everyday healthcare needs like booking appointments, requesting ambulances, purchasing medicines, and more.
For us, this recognition reinforces the role digital payments play in improving public services. By powering the financial layer of these national health platforms, we’re helping build a healthcare experience that is more connected, easier to navigate, and reliable for people across the country.
We remain committed to strengthening essential services through technology and contributing to a more accessible Digital healthcare System for Ethiopia.
